Business Gets Done On the Golf Course So Sign Up for a Pro Golf School Now
The Equal Rights Act of 1964 set the stage of equal rights in the workplace for women. Over the last several decades, women have joined the workforce in droves, whether by choice or by need. Today women represent almost 50 % of the total workforce of our economy which sets the stage for women to hold high power jobs where men used to hold the majority of positions. The representation of women in the workforce today also means they need to be equal to men, not just in pay and type of jobs, but in preparation for competition in today’s business realities.  While reaping the benefits of the Equal Right movement, women need to be prepared to participate in activities once left predominantly to men.  The game of golf figures prominently in the business world and women who want to be able to participate and compete in the business environment need to learn to play golf in an effort to compete equally with their male counterparts. Yes ladies…it’s time to learn to play golf. It’s easy to learn with the help of a pro golf school and a talented teacher.  Time and desire helps too but learning golf can be equally rewarding from a competitive nature.

From doctors to lawyers to politicians to teachers, women hold jobs all over the spectrum. While some ladies may enjoy golf with their spouses or friends, others use the outing as an opportunity to unwind after a stressful work week. Once thought to be a man’s sport, women are slowly embracing the game of golf as a pastime. Some ladies learn the game in order to play with friends or significant others. Others enjoy the sport due to their competitive nature and interest in beating their best score on the links. Still others take to the greens to enjoy the outdoor aspect of the game. Whatever the reason you go to a pro golf school and learn to play, the ability to play golf will serve you well when competing in the business world. Being able to play golf can get your face time with the boss and executives of the company. Since women are taking on positions of leadership more frequently, they need to be able to do what their male counterparts do. If it is playing golf with the CEO or President of the company, a women needs to be prepared for that golf outing. Unfortunately, the ability to golf can grant a women time and exposure that doesn’t necessarily happen in the workplace. Getting to know the executives of your company on the golf course could lead to selection of special projects or involvement in big decisions. Gaining the benefit of familiarity with these leaders will help to enhance your career opportunities in the short term and may have long term benefits.

Learning to play golf isn’t a big sacrifice when you consider the professional and social benefits. Playing golf means that you can enjoy the great outdoors with friends and family who also play golf. Enjoying a day on the links is great exercise and can motivate you to get fresh air and reduce stress. In a professional setting, you can participate in golf outings with co-workers thus enhancing your relationship with other participants. For a woman in the workplace, playing golf could gain you access to the power players and executives who could positively affect your career advancement. So sign up with a pro golf school and begin working on your golf swing.  It might become a pastime as well as a passion as you get better and more experienced on the greens.
