| Channeling Your Inner Pirate by Shopping for Pirate Costumes for the Whole Family |
|
A family who plays together stays together. This
Halloween, as your family plans their coordinating costumes; channel your
favorite movie to laugh it up and dress up for fun. Who doesn’t love the movie Pirates of the Caribbean? Maybe the
family minivan isn’t a pirate ship, but the point here is to use imagination
and creativity for your Halloween preparations. With Dad posing as Johnny Depp
and Mom posing as the kidnapped maiden played by Keira Knightley, the kids will
be eager to join the family theme and be pirates sailing the high seas. The
adults and kids alike will look smashing in their pirate costumes and hopefully
no one will be made to walk the plank. Having the family dressing up to a
uniform theme will make be enjoyable for the kids because they always enjoy
watching their parents do something silly. So, come on parents…let’s start
thinking about Halloween even though we haven’t gotten to summer yet or even
planned your summer vacation. You have to accomplish top priority first.
Who hasn’t seen the clown costumes and sports team
concept in Halloween outfits? The doctors and nurses costumes have been seen
before. Even the super hero themed costumes are redundant and unoriginal. Doing
something unique like pirate
costumes for the group and really wow your friends and neighbors as
you take the kids trick or treating. With a wagon loaded up with the kids and a
few adult beverages and flashlights, the kids will be thrilled to run house to
house and collect their goodies and maybe scare some clowns along the way.
Hopefully they won’t capture anyone and pillage their loot filled with
chocolate and sugary candy. Don’t forget
the reflective lighting for dark costumes and maybe a change of shoes for your
child who insisted on heeled shoes or flip flops.
The tradition of trick or treating is exciting for
children. They especially love the energy surrounding the Halloween
preparations. From selecting a pumpkin at the patch, carving them into various
funny and scary faces or taking a late night haunted hayride, kids go wild for
Halloween. They enjoy selecting candy to give out at the door and the
preparations for parties at school. They look forward to participating in
Halloween parades to show off their costumes, especially if their costumes are
especially spooky, scary or gory. Kids wait all year for the piles of candy
they collect while parents wait to sneak their favorite candy bars out of the
pile for sampling. It’s a fun time of the year with decorating the house with
corn stalks, hay packs and scarecrows.
Preparing for the family filled Halloween will start with
selecting your theme and shopping for awesome, original costumes from a party
shop or online. If you select pirate
costumes for the entire family, you can be assured they make them in men’s,
women’s and children’s styles. Whether you order a prepackaged costume or
create the look yourself with clothes from the closet and a pirate patch over
your eye, dressing up will be easy for all members of the family. Halloween can
prove to be a bonding time for the family as you plan and orchestrate family
fun and festivities. The kids will be excited to see their parents dress up and
participate in the fun while the parents will be glad they helped make a
memorable holiday for their children. So man the ship, hoist the flag and
prepare to set sail on the high seas. You will sail from house to house and
listen to the giggling children and know you have made their Halloween dreams
become a reality.
